Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
24 Years
What is your primary product or service?
XSi provides IT maintenance on "Enterprise" data center equipment including Networking, Servers and Storage. XSi provides an alternative to costly maintenance from OEMs including Cisco, Juniper, F5, Brocade, IBM, HP, Dell, EMC, HDS and others. Our service is equivalent to the OEMs since it includes TAC center services by certified engineers, field replacement with authentic OEM systems and parts and updates and patches which come directly from the OEM. The benefits are a 15 minute response vs. 1 hour by the OEM and 30% savings.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1988 I started my career in high performance computers and learned insight into how proprietary manufacturers hide the fact that their are alternatives to what they provide.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Compared to the OEM, we offer US technicians (not overseas booktrained and script reading engineers), we offer a 15 minute guaranteed response by an engineer, cost savings, flexibility, cross platform equipment under 1 contract, monthly billing in arrears.
